European Muslim Women of Influence

Updated: Dec 5, 2018

by Natalia Chan

The European Muslim Women of Influence (EMWI) initiative celebrates the achievements of Muslim women in a plethora of social arenas with an aim to raise awareness of Muslim women’s contributions to European life, diversify the mainstream representation of Muslim women, and inspire accomplishment across Europe’s diverse communities. The ‘top 25’ inspiring, dynamic and positively engaged women will be shortlisted for the full EMWI List, which will be profiled in various media outlets across Europe.

EMWI was developed and is facilitated by CEDAR (Connecting European Dynamic Achievers and Role models), Europe’s first Muslim professionals’ network that seeks to generate a culture of success and leadership amongst Europe’s diverse Muslim communities.

If you know a Muslim woman, based in Europe, who has been an inspiring role model, leader, innovator or visionary, a trailblazer in the public or private sector and/or a catalyst of positive change in her community or beyond, then nominate her now for the European Muslim Women of Influence List 2010 by completing the Nomination Form. If you fit this description, please nominate yourself!

The nominations will be closing in the next couple of weeks, so please do get them in as soon as possible and do circulate this on to your own contacts if you wish.
